Parents & Sponsors:

Welcome to the Baumholder community! We look forward to meeting you and becoming partners in the education of your student(s).

Smith ES serve Prekindergarten (PK) - 5th grade students and we have the core content areas of literacy, math, science, and social studies, taught in coordinated instructional blocks so that students who need support and extensions from small group specialists can co-teach with classroom teachers each day.

Our support staff includes teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESoL), Special Education: Learning Impairment Teacher (LI), Advanced Academics Program and Services (AAPS), Strategic Literacy Interventionist (SLI), Special Education: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), and Math Interventionist. Our electives include Physical Education, Music, Library, Counseling, Keyboarding/Tech Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, and Host Nation.

After school programs offer students exciting after school activities such as Engineering Design/Robotics Club, Fitness Club, Yearbook Club, Art Clubs, and Music Clubs.

Smith ES faculty and staff are committed to each child’s success in every developmental area - academics, social, and behavioral. We extend a warm welcome to you from all of us.
